MEDICA is widely recognized as the world's largest medical trade fair and a central forum for the global medical community. The primary goal is to showcase the entire spectrum of innovations for outpatient and clinical care, driving the future of healthcare technology and digitalization. Hubei TDL Group are delighted to be participating in this exhibition and look forward to sharing our latest products.
Hubei Orient owns the factory: Ammex-Weida(Hubei) Health and Safety Products Co. Ammex-Weida is situated in Xiantao, Hubei, China. Ammex-weida established in 2003, covers 65,000 square meters. We are a group of more than 500 individuals, and equipped with a medical and industrial laboratory of Class 100,000 (ISO 8 equivalent) and clean-room workshops of Class 10,000 (ISO 7 equivalent) for the production of sterile medical devices and various disposable products.
Among the product series that have garnered significant attention at recent medical trade shows are the protective suits classified as Type 3/4/5/6 and Type 3B/4B/5B/6B under the PPE Regulation, as well as AAMI PB70:2012 Level-3 surgical gowns.
--PPE Regulation Type3/4/5/6 Protective Coverall Standards:
| Type | Protection Description | Test Requirement |
| Type 3 | Liquid-Tight: Protection against strong, directional jets of liquid chemical. | Whole suit spray test (EN 14605) |
| Type 4 | Spray-Tight: Protection against saturation of liquid chemicals (finer spray/mist). | Whole suit spray test (EN 14605) |
| Type 5 | Particle-Tight: Protection against airborne solid particulates/dust (hazardous dust). | Whole suit aerosol test (EN ISO 13982-1) |
| Type 6 | Limited Splash-Tight: Protection against light spray and limited accidental splashes. | Whole suit low-level spray test (EN 13034) |
The 'B' Designation (e.g., Type 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B)
The addition of the 'B' (e.g., Type 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B) signifies that the protective suit has met the requirements of EN 14126.
EN 14126 is the European standard specifically for protective clothing against infective agents (biological hazards). The suit must pass a series of tests against contaminated liquids, aerosols, and dry particles to gain this classification.
--AAMI PB70:2012 Level-3 Standard
The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) PB70:2012 standard defines the classification system for liquid barrier performance of protective apparel used in healthcare (like surgical gowns and drapes).
There are four levels (1 through 4), with higher numbers indicating better protection.
Level-3 Requirements
AAMI Level 3 (Moderate Barrier Protection) is often specified for procedures where a moderate amount of fluid exposure is expected, such as minor trauma procedures or major surgeries.
The standard defines Level-3 performance based on two key tests:
A garment must pass both tests to be certified as Level 3, ensuring it provides a reliable barrier against liquid penetration in the operating room.
